your site is a very good one with very low prices, but the only flaw is that you dont have shipping which is a big drag because i live in texas where we have a lot of land for fireworks, also we dont have all year round firework stands, bummer huh! so maybe you could think about getting some shipping or some of your stands in texas sincerly, PYRO

I was wondering if you tell me how I might find how many grains of gunpowder are in a firecracker, a cherry bomb, or an m-80? If you don't have that information, do you know where I could find it? My son and I live in California and he got in trouble for lighting a firecracker. The seriousness of this is coming down to a discussion of how powerful each of these different firecrackers are. To the owners of Sheltons Fireworks: As I drove by your Lankaster, Mo. store this last week, noticing the damage to the your billboard (maybe by wind?) triggered an idea. As a consultant for seamless reinforced concrete domes, a builder I work with is interested in building the worlds largest dome. I live in Charlotte N.C. and I'm 13 years old and i used to go down to this store called Red Rockets and i thought it was like the biggest firework store in the world. But last wekend i was drivin down to East Cobb to play in a baseball tournament and i saw yals store and i love fireworks so me and my dad stopped in at sheltons. It was great. This 4th of july im goin to ur store to buy all my fireworks and at the end of july im goin down to the beach for the AAU nationals and im gettin 500$ worth of fireworks from Sheltons to take down to the beach.

I just bought some fireworks at an Indiana outlet and i love them. Your store is awesome. The "el torro" and "mobster" brand of firecrackers are awesome. We made our first trip to Shelton's at Rockport, MO this year, and got some great stuff! The prices on many things were even lower than it shows in the online catalog. Normal $3.00 bottle rockets were only $1.70, for example, and there were also some big discounts on the mortar kits! This allowed us to buy more stuff, and we got $15 of free stuff that we could pick out. Also got a free 6 pac of bottled mountain dew. Some of our purchases included the Mississippi Gambler 3 Aces mortar kit, M-200's, M-95's, Mobster Bombs, a brick of some firecrackers, parachutes, 4 gross packs of Mobster bottle rockets, 1 pack of whistling bottle rockets, El Torro Railroad Crossing (RR Crossing) multifire aerial, smoke bombs, Combat Commando giant aerial rockets (good!), Alien missiles, some other various aerial rockets, and a Big Bite triple break shells mortar kit by Mad Hornet. Shelton's has great prices, large selections, and high quality items. Don't be discouraged of some of the brands of fireworks that you find that you may not have heard of before-I have tried out many of them already, and they are all good quality products, and perform just as well as the competition, if not better in some cases. I have been going to the Porter, Indiana store for about seven years now. I have always loved going to your store not only because it is the biggest, most well-stocked store ever, but the people are so friendly. I will be coming to your store later this week and I must say I am very excited. Last summer we spent around fifty dollars, worth of fireworks. We felt like getting a bunch small, fun stuff. This year we will be spending about two-hundred dollars, and we will not only get small stuff. The first time I walked into your store I almost fainted I was so excited. what's really cool about Shelton's is that when i walked in there for the first time, they had a banner that said "spend 100-150 dollars and get 10% off...150-200 dollars get 20% off and so on." plus, bring a phantom catalog (if ya have one) and the people at sheltons will be happy to give you a gross of bottle rockets. I have been going to shelton for the past 2 years since the firework store i used to go to ( Boomtown USA Merrilville, Indiana ) burned down a few years back. I see no problem with the quality of the fireworks and the prices are the cheapest ive seen out of any store ive been to. It would be nice to see some brand names like Black Cat at shelton though.

answering questions from below: Don Halladay and Mitch Gramann: our prices have always been competitive in the areas where our giant warehouses are located. we have our own product lines that are our primary fireworks as shown in the online catalog. we offer many more products in the warehouses than what we'll ever be able to show in the catalog. I've heard a lot about your fireworks warehouses. Ever thought about opening a store in Tennessee? From what I've been told, you would bury the competition around here. There are lots of firework enthusiasts like me in this area, especially east Tennessee. We have to rely on local suppliers who set up tents because the stores have insanely expensive prices. We can't even put on a decent show for less than $1,000 with their prices. Anyways....nice website!

hey, i found out about shelton fireworks by passing a billboard where i live (kentucky-ohio), so i thought i would give sheltons a shot. i checked your website out and i cannot believe the low low prices shelton has to offer. i use to be a phantom fireworks maniac...getting the catalog and making a trip out there every forth of july. well, my thoughts have changed...phantom rips people off, over charge way too much (i seen that saturn batteries 100 shot cakes are only 4.95 at sheltons!!! at phantom they are 12.99!!) this is a very long reply to you, but it is worth it. i am looking forward to visit shelton's (west harrison location) and stock up on all the fun for my forth of july party. i know this year will be a blast because i will save BIG, i mean BIG at sheltons fireworks. thank you, Max Sibernagel

Well, I just want to say that I was waiting tables at the red arrow restaurant in Fremont, Indiana, in 1992 when I first met the Shelton's as they were finishing up the construction of their elaborate warehouse. They have treated us right in the years since and I recommend them for your holiday consideration. they have a wide selection of fireworks. I've helped so many customers out with the fireworks they've wanted to buy and see, and Everyone of them have told me that they appreciate my and others' help with getting the BEST QUALITY fireworks for them to put on a GREAT Show!!! I just tried out my first mortar kit and my first tube. They were both awesome. I go to your store in fair play. I love it. It's huge. I also really like a type of special effect called "palm". Thanx for your store, I hope you keep your stores open for a long time!

I just wanted to add on to my earlier comment and say that the El Torro Can-Do-Morro mortar kit is sweet. I just got the Evil Warlock artillery kit and it was great too. I put on a firework show for my family last night. My sister was intrigued by the aircraft carrier and the morning glories. I personally liked the roman candles and the Crackling Twitter glitter. I love your store. You have great prices and are great about being open. Your staff is cool too, and I love the family boxes. P.S.- My cousin is afraid of the UFOs. (Hahahaha)

indiana gregs temble of boom!wat a show!Im wat you might call a fanatic when it comes to fireworks,and ive always shopped for the loudest brightest displays,but always spent 300 bucks.not this time!and the 37 shot cake i got free as part of my bonus was a great intro to the show followed by a mortar show then the rest of the cakes in the kit.EXCELLENT!

WoW! I saw low prices on this site and i wanted to go to this place.... I have never been to Shelton before but I'm looking forward to it on the day i go on Sunday or Saturday. Wow what can I say, When I first walked in I was amazed with the large selection, the great prices and the quantity of the items! I give credit to the wonderful free fireworks and the higher you go the more free credit rule!   We drive all the way from New York to get these great  fireworks. We are definitely great fans.
